Cupuacu Butter

Cupuaçu is a tree that grows in the tropical rainforests of the Amazon basin, from Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil and Peru. It’s actually the national fruit of Brazil.
Cupuaçu is a member of the chocolate family. It is used to make snack bars and ice cream. Colour is white, hard at room temperature and it has a light scent of chocolate and pineapple.
Cupuacu butter is made from cold pressing the cupuaçu seeds. It contains lots of fatty acids including stearic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid and arachidic acid.
Cupuaçu is rich in several B vitamins and antioxidants including Vitamin A and C.
