Get your gloves and start makin’ soap…….

Weigh out 16 ounces of MP soap base, cut into small uniform small pieces and place them in your pyrex measuring cup.

Micro on high for 30 second bursts, stirring in between.  It will take 3 or 4 bursts, depending on your microwave.  DO NOT overheat or the soap will burn.  After the 3rd 30 second burst, stir and take your temperature.  it should not be more than 160 degrees celsius.  You may need to microwave once more.

Add your mica, only a small pinch and stir to mix.  Add you vitamin E and stir to mix.  One your temperature is below 130 – 135 degrees celsius, add your essential oil and stir to mix.  Pour your soap into your molds and let them harden without moving them for about 4 hours.  Remove from the molds and wrap in saran wrap.

You just made your first melt and pour basic soap batch.
